Drain Diagnostics

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting is a non-invasive plumbing solution that clears pipes and removes blockages using high-pressure water jets.

Trenchless Repair

Trenchless sewer repair is a method of fixing sewer lines without digging up the entire pipe. It is less disruptive and can often be completed in a single day.

What is Hydro-jetting?

Hydro-jetting technology offers relief to your sewer stressors. This method cleans more efficiently than traditional snaking. Where snaking removes clogs, some debris is often left behind. Hydro-jetting uses high pressure water jets to remove buildups, blockages, and even invasive roots from a plumbing system. Much like the power washers you might use around the house for your “hard to clean” jobs, hydro-jetting also uses pressurized water to clean, just inside your pipes.

The water’s intense pressure prunes tree roots and clogged waste from sewer lines by breaking it down and shooting at the trouble area from within the pipe’s interior. A drain snake may be used initially, but hydro-jetting is an efficient way to clear away any lingering waste. Hydro-jetting with J & R Herra prevents the issue from repeating itself within a short window of time.

Finally, hydro-jetting is an environmentally friendly option. It does not use any destructive or corrosive chemicals in its cleaning and repair process. Truthfully, chemicals are often ineffective and can cause more damage to a property’s plumbing infrastructure.

Troubleshooting: Do I need hydro-jetting solutions?

Are your household drains slower than normal?

If water is pooling and draining slowly, there may be an unseen obstruction in your drain. Even after trying DIY unclogging solutions, debris could still be left blocking the flow of water. The hydro-jetting experts at J & R Herra can efficiently clear away the rubbish in your pipes.

Is sewage backing up from your drains?

Sometimes clogs bury themselves deep within the piping of a property. This issue prevents sewage from flowing properly. When this waste has nowhere to go, it can reverse direction and flow back into your kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. This dilemma can easily be solved with the Hydro-jetting technologies at J & R Herra. Our skilled plumbers will not only find the blockage deep within your sewer line, but can confidently flush it free to promote the flow of sewage.

Does your property have multiple backed up drains?

When there is one…chances are, there are others. When water does not have a clear path, a backed-up sewer can escalate quickly on a property. Hydro-jetting is a preventative, trouble-shooting measure to flush multiple lines within a home.

Is there an odor coming from your household drains?

Do you have a terrible stench coming from your drains (most commonly from your kitchen sink)? Often, food waste builds up and gets trapped in your pipes. As a result, it starts to produce a rotten, trash-like smell. Hydro-jetting not only flushes away the putrid waste, but it does so without the use of harsh chemicals.

Forget the cumbersome plumbing snake and use of corrosive chemicals when the professionals at J & R Herra are on the call.

What is Perma-Liner?

The sad reality of any property is that pipes do not last forever. Over time, they corrode and deteriorate. Cracks and holes may develop. Roots may invade. Decades of plumbing backups and sewage issues may have put stress on a piping system that weakens and eventually fails.

Water and sewer lines can be repaired and renewed thanks to the Perma-line technologies offered through J & R Herra Home Services. Perma-liner is a pull-in-place pipelining system where a coated tube is needled within your old pipe to seal off any cracks or holes.

Tributes to trenchless:

Excavating an existing sewer line (for replacement or removal) can take a full week or longer to complete. The Perma-liner alternative at J & R Herra Home Services takes, on average, two days from start to finish. This includes the diagnosis, preparation, installation, and final inspection.

Digging up a sewer line is also more costly due to additional labor costs. Gratefully, trenchless pipe restoration costs about half as much as excavating a sewer line.

Perma-liner is made of incredibly durable material with the highest quality. This not only seals off the damaged area, but it also strengthens the existing pipes for years to come.

*Less Mess = Less Stress

Sewer line issues tend to cause incredible stress on homeowners. THANKFULLY, J & R Herra Home Services has the equipment, training, certification, and expertise associated with Perma-Liner trenchless pipe restoration. When these significant (and inevitable) issues arise, our team knows how to offer a solution that does NOT require digging up your yard, dramatically altering your living/work space, or breaking the bank!
